Dr Alberto Paganini

Alberto is an Associate Professor in Mathematics in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Leicester. His research focuses on PDE-constrained shape optimization, ranging from fundamental theory to industrial applications, and collaborating closely with engineers, physicists, and industrial partners.

At Leicester, Alberto is the mathematics lead for Research Impact and Knowledge Exchange. He also convenes the 3rd year module MA3513 Industrial Mathematics Project, which facilitates collaborative projects between teams of mathematics students and local industrial partners.
